This little forest is located on the property of my husband's relatives. It was here that for the first time in my life I saw Spanish Moss, and, oh joy, lots of poison oak. Before they let me wander around with my camera, the relatives gave me a crash-course in poison-oak recognition and avoidance, for which I am very grateful. The nasty plants are beautiful, and a natural safe-haven for the wildlife in the forest... Thank you, Rod, Margaret, Che, for your warm hospitality and for the inspiring days that I could spend in that gorgeous forest...
