The Open Air Museum on the outskirts of Arnhem, the Netherlands, is my favorite museum of all times with its authentic farms, farm houses, cottages, turf huts, workshops etc. from the past several hundred years. It gives a beautiful feel and picture of the Netherlands as it was in the time of our ancestors. Until this very day you will still see such farmhouses and farms, meadows, fields and orchards all over the country. The Open Air Museum lets you experience and see all of the rural Netherlands in one day, gorgeous!
